Sword Beach is the furthest east of the 5 beaches that were involved in D-Day, 1944. The beach stretches 8km west across Normandy, from Ouistreham (where this photo was taken) to Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer.
It has been much time since I've uploaded a deviation. I've found it hard to find time for photography in the last few months, and this is one of the rare shots I've had actual time to do! It's even rarer for me to visit the coast, so this was a real treat. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. You can think of anything you want, just make sure you still respect the theme. You can choose to illustrate dreams, nightmares or even both of them. Anything you want!
