Artist's Comments

Sword Beach is the furthest east of the 5 beaches that were involved in D-Day, 1944. The beach stretches 8km west across Normandy, from Ouistreham (where this photo was taken) to Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer.

It has been much time since I've uploaded a deviation. I've found it hard to find time for photography in the last few months, and this is one of the rare shots I've had actual time to do! It's even rarer for me to visit the coast, so this was a real treat.
